On the afternoon of December 3, 2024, the much-anticipated SKIA Kadsigalaw awarding ceremony wrapped up a spectacular series of competitions that showcased the incredible skills, creativity, and sportsmanship of students across two categories. From intense athletic events to impressive literary and socio-cultural feast, this year’s Kadsigalaw celebrated the hard work and dedication of each participating team.
The overall ranking paved way to Grade 8 Spitting Vipers as they took the crown. The fierce competition in Category A saw the Grade 8 Spitting Vipers rise to the top, emerging as the overall champions of the event. Their hard-earned victory in the sports, literary, and socio-cultural contests put them at the forefront of the competition, making their triumph all the more impressive.
Following closely behind were the Grade 7 Thrilling Sharks, who secured the first runner-up position, showing their determination and talent. The SKIA Elementary Annex Lightning Falcons rounded out the top three as the second runner-up, with their outstanding performance across multiple categories.
In the Literary Competition, the Annex team took home the championship, displaying excellent writing and communication skills. The Grade 7 students followed as the first runner-up, with the Grade 8 team placing second.
When it came to sports, the Grade 8 team’s dominance was undeniable as they clinched the top spot. The Grade 7 team secured second place, and the Annex finished in third.
The Socio-Cultural events saw the Annex team emerge victorious, showing their creativity in a variety of artistic performances. The Grade 8 team earned the first runner-up position, while the Grade 7 team finished as the second runner-up.
Moreover, in the overall ranking for Category B, College A Soaring Eagles Soar to Victory. The College A Soaring Eagles soared to the top, securing the title of overall champion. Their impressive performances in all areas of the competition highlighted their skill and teamwork, making them worthy winners. The College B Blazing Panthers finished as the first runner-up, followed by the SHS Roaring Tigers, who placed third, Grade 10 who took the fourth spot followed by Grade 9.
In the Literary Competition, College A claimed the championship, while SHS teams took second and third place, showcasing their strong literary talents. College B finished in fourth, with Grade 10 and Grade 9 rounding out the top spots.
The Sports Competition in Category B saw an exciting tie between SHS and College A, both teams showing remarkable athleticism and determination. College B secured the first runner-up position, while the Grade 9 team claimed second runner-up and the Grade 10 team came in third.
The Socio-Cultural category was a close contest, with the College B team taking the top spot. The College A team followed as the first runner-up, while the SHS team claimed third place. The Grade 10 and Grade 9 teams also made strong contributions to this vibrant competition.
