The heraldic description of the academic Logo follows:
The BOOK at the center symbolizes the Qur’an as the primary source of knowledge and Islamic Education as the Foundation of the Muslim personality, society and culture that the SKIA strives to promote.
The DOUBLE SQUARE symbols depict the coherence of scientific inquiry and Islamic discipline as the framework of interdisciplinary approach that SKIA imparts through instruction (Ta’Lim), discipline (Ta’Dib), and educational growth (Tarbiyah);
The EIGHT POINTED STAR represents the various academic programs and Islamic alternatives future open to students of SKIA that invest its educational function with social concerns and practical visions.
The ARABIC SCRIPT expresses “IQRA BISMI RABBIKA” (Recite in the name of ALLAH) the first words heard by Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) that signify the virtue of seeking truth adopted as motto of SKIA.
SKIA COLLEGE TRADEMARKS NOTICE
The logotype signature associated with trademarks and service marks as well as color usage of Sultan Muhammad Dipatuan Kudarat Islamic Academy Foundation, Inc. now abbreviated word-marks “SKIA College” was originally designed with help from friends of the academy at the National Historical Institute of the Philippines.
All other trademarks and service marks used in the site are logo designs—a symbol, a text or a combination of both—of their respective owners. No trademarks or service marks and visual identity styles appearing on this site may be used without the prior written consent of the trademark’s owner.
