The 33rd Founding Anniversary and Intramurals of the Sultan Muhammad Dipatuan Kudarat Islamic Academy (SKIA) kicked off last November 18, 2024 with the vibrant opening ceremonies for Kadsigalaw 2024. The theme “Nurturing Camaraderie and Sportsmanship through Academics, Sports, and Socio-Cultural Competition” promises a week filled with exciting contests and friendly rivalry, fostering a strong sense of community and fair play among students. The opening ceremony featured inspiring speeches and showcased the school’s commitment to holistic development, balancing academic excellence with athletic prowess and cultural appreciation.

Adding to the excitement of SKIA Kadsigalaw 2024, a captivating exhibition showcased the diverse talents and skills of the school community. The teachers, Elementary Annex pupils, SKIA Boy Scouts, Drum and Lyre Corps, and the SKIA Grapplers (Jiu-Jitsu team) presented an impressive intermission and exhibition of their talents and abilities, highlighting the school’s commitment to a well-rounded education that extends beyond academics.

The event formally started after the lighting of the urn headed by the SKIA athletes followed by the oath of sportsmanship led by Datu Ismael V. Mastura, the school’s Vice President for Finance and Administration.
