The Second Honors’ Convocation for the Sultan Kudarat Islamic Academy Elementary Annex was conducted on December 5, 2024, at 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The event that took place at the annex of the school was a major milestone to celebrate the pupils’ academic success from Kinder to Grade 6 level during the first semester of the school year.
The program opened with a solemn opening Du’a led by Grade 3 pupil Ahmed Saeel G. Edress, followed by a heartfelt rendition of the National Anthem by teacher aide Arbaya A. Ambiton. School Principal Nhor-Hannah U. Gani, LPT, MAEd, welcomed everyone with her inspiring opening remarks. The awarding of certificates started with Kinder-1, Kinder-2, Grade-1, Grade-2, and Grade-3 honor pupils, led by Datu Ismael V. Mastura, Al-Hadj, Vice President for Finance and Administration, and assisted by Principal Gani and Registrar Maimona D. Nanding, LPT.
An inspirational message was given by a Grade 2 Ali student, Junaidy II W. Kamid, to all the students to strive for excellence. The awarding still continued to honor pupils for Grades 4, 5, and 6 with the same spirit as recognition of their hard work and dedication. Closing remarks were given by Registrar Maimona D. Nanding, followed by closing Du’a led by Abdul Rauf C. Enggona, a pupil of Grade 3 Musa.
The Second Honors’ Convocation is a source of joy and inspiration of the effort and dedication made by students, supported by the guide and encouragement provided by teachers and families in this setting. It, therefore, reflects the school’s commitment to nurturing both academic excellence and Islamic values.
