In the 10th day of December, 2024, the Senior High School department conducted its 2nd Honors’ Convocation and Card Distribution Day held at SKIA Auditorium. The grade 11 produced 5 with High Honors, 28 with Honors, 18 Merit awardees, and 14 Perfect Attendance awardees, with the total of 65 awardees. While, the grade 12 level produced 2 with Highest Honors, 11 with High Honors, 80 with Honors, 25 Merit awardees, and 13 Perfect Attendance awardees, with the total of 131 awardees.
The 2nd Quarter Honors Convocation and Card Distribution commenced with an opening Du’ah led by Samir G. Makadag, a Grade 12 STEM Yahya Learner. Ms. Maimona D. Nanding, the Basic Education Registrar, then delivered opening remarks, setting the tone for the ceremony. The convocation featured an inspirational message from Datu Ismael V. Mastura Al-Hadj, the Vice President for Finance and Administration.
The highlight of the event was the awarding of certificates. This significant part of the program was facilitated by the following; Hon. Datu Ismael V. Mastura Al-Hadj (VP for Finance and Administration), Mr. Jamel S. Omar (SHS Principal), Mr. Romnie A. Quiray (JHS Vice-Principal), and Ms. Maimona D. Nanding (BE Registrar). Their collaborative effort ensured a smooth and efficient distribution of certificates to the deserving students. The ceremony concluded with a closing du’ah offered by Hasan K. Eto, another Grade 12 STEM Yahya Learner.
