October 16, 2020 – Cotabato City Prosecutor Mariam Veloso Mastura-Linsangan and her husband  Ahmad R. Linsangan committed to promote legacy giving (waqaf) program at SKIA College. They said, “They intended to make an inspirational impact by giving other types of assets.”

Twelve (12) solar light panels donated to the SKIA College and Islamic Academy by the couple have lighted up the co-location campus at Brgy. Bulalo, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao. As part of the legacy giving program, they extended their gift to the SKIA Elementary Annex located at Burhan Mosque compound, Gen. Luna St., Brgy. RH-4, Cotabato City.

This type of legacy giving to an educational foundation serves to increase gift aid to the endowments (awqaf) of the SKIA College. In addition, the donors put up the signage on the new founders’ hall façade.

Cotabato City Prosecutor Mariam Veloso Mastura-Linsangan is the daughter of the SKIA President and CEO.
