September 2, 2021, The Sultan Kudarat Islamic Academy Foundation College celebrated its 30th Founding Anniversary. It was founded in 1991.
The celebration started with the flag raising ceremony at the quadrangle attended by school officials, faculty members and personnel of SKIA Broadcasting Center DXMM 107.3 Magnet FM.
In the afternoon, a short program was held at the auditorium. It was attended by officers and members of the Board namely President and CEO Atty. Datu Michael O. Mastura; Chairman Datu Tucao O. Mastura, CPA; Administrator Hadja Salma Lourdes V. Mastura; VP Datu Ismael V. Mastura, Al-Hadj; Datu Armando Mastura; Atty. Ishak V. Mastura and Maguindanao Board Member Datu Shariffudin P. Mastura, CPA. Present also in the program were MP Bai Sittie Shahara “Dimple” Mastura, Sultan Kudarat Municipal Administrator Sultan Banjo Mampon, faculty members and admin staff.






It was formally opened by Maguindanao Board Member Datu Shariffudin P. Mastura, CPA.
MP Datu Tucao O. Mastura, CPA, Chairman of the Board of Trustees gave an inspirational message. In his message he congratulated the teachers, students and admin staff of the academy for reaching this far. He mentioned the plan on the extension of the academy and the renovation and expansion of the Masjid Al-Qudra to be the grand mosque in the municipality of Sultan Kudarat. He also expressed his gratitude for the realization of his brother’s dream, the establishment of the school’s radio station. Finally, he encouraged the Muslim brothers and sisters to read, study and apply the messages of the Holy Qur’an in their respective lives.
Lastly, the founder and CEO of the academy, Atty. Datu Michael O. Mastura gave a response message. He extended his salaam to the SKIA community and visitors and provided an explanation for naming the academy after the national hero, Sultan Kudarat.
It was followed by a kanduli which they called as “merienda cena,” a meal that is between two meals.
