SKIA College Dept. Conducted its Pinning and Sending-Off Ceremony for the First Batch of Social Work Interns 2026-2027.

The Sultan Muhammad Dipatuan Kudarat Islamic Academy Foundation, Inc. conducted the Pinning and Sending Off Ceremony for its “first batch of Social Work Interns” on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at the SKIA Auditorium, anchoring the milestone on the theme, “A Symbol of Commitment: Embracing Compassion, Courage, and Service to Humanity with Integrity and Excellence.”

This program was organized by the committee to formally deploy the interns to their respective partnering agencies and institutions. As the first-ever batch from the Social Work program to reach this stage, the ceremony marks a historic milestone in their journey as future Social Workers.

The pinning symbolizes both their lifelong commitment to service and social justice, and the trust placed in them by the institution and the community. Entering the field for their practicum allows these interns to equip themselves with hands-on experience, effectively bridging the gap between theoretical social work frameworks and real-world compassionate practice.

The momentous event was well-attended by esteemed partners and agency representatives, including Ms. Renalyn N. Culanag (Administrative Staff) and Ms. Sittie Fairouz P. Usman, LPT (Project Staff) from the Philippine Red Cross-Maguindanao Chapter, Cotabato City.
