New Classrooms for Senior High

The school administration spent more or less four million pesos for the construction of five new classrooms at the third floor of the business building. The construction started in January 2019 and is expected to be finished before June of the same year.

“The new classrooms are for the incoming Grade 11 students” the president and founder, Atty. Datu Michael O. Mastura said in an interview.  “The construction is based on strategic plan.  This is to provide conducive, convenient, and safe environment and facilities to our students,” he added.

In fact, he said that the design of the classrooms have been upgraded to withstand the strong wind, earthquake and other disasters by expanding the structural components such as footing and columns.

According to the president, “The purpose of adding new classrooms is to accommodate the increasing number of students / learners at the Academy” as he observes that students from other institutions are interested in enrolling and continuing their junior and senior high school studies at  the Sultan Kudarat Islamic Academy.
